Perak FA to take action against Razali

IPOH: The Perak FA are expected to take disciplinary action against striker Razali Umar Kandasamy (pic), who has gone absent from the team since March 9 even though he had promised to turn over a new leaf.

Razali’s only contact since his absence was an SMS sent to a team official, claiming that he had diarrhoea and was not able to train with the team.

However, he met the FA president, Datuk Zainol Padzi Paharuddin, at his office on Tuesday and promised not to repeat his errant ways.

Zainol Padzi said even though Razali had made the promise, the FA would still take disciplinary action against him for having breached his contract and not turning up for training.

“I accepted his reasons but this will be his final chance. He has agreed to change,” he said yesterday. This is not the first case involving the striker. Early this year, the FA deducted two months’ salary from him for not attending training for three weeks. – Bernama
