Perak intend to suspend absent Razali

IPOH: Razali Umar Kandasamy may be a rising star in the Perak team but the FA have had enough of his discipline problems.

The Perak FA are considering suspending the striker, who has failed to attend training since March 9.

The FA president, Datuk Zainol Fadzi Paharudin, said there had been no word from Razali since then even though they had tried to contact him.

“We do not know what problems he is facing but his case will be on the agenda when the FA management committee meet next week,” he said here yesterday.

Prior to this, the FA had punished Razali, who hails from Sungai Siput, with a two-month salary cut for failing to turn up for training for three weeks.

This time around, the last communication from Razali before he went missing was an SMS sent to a team official, stating that he was down with diarrhoea. – Bernama
